Professor Julio Juarez

Professor Julio Juarez is a senior student of Professor Jean Jacques Machado and has been training at the Jean Jacques Machado Academy for the past 20 plus years. He received his Black Belt in 2009 from Jean Jacques Machado and continues to remain an active student at the Jean Jacques Machado Academy. Professor Juarez is currently a 3rd-degree black belt and now operates and instructs at the Julio Juarez BJJ academy in Santa Clarita, CA. He continues to strive to better his art and pass the knowledge that he has learned from Professor Machado to all of his students. Professor Juarez opens his gym to all that are willing to learn the art of jiu-jitsu while making lasting friendships along the way.

Julio's Mission

Julio aims to create an environment that fosters friendship and trust above all else.  His students, their families, and visiting guests are cherished and protected at all times.  Jiu-jitsu is a practice that promotes so many benefits and Julio's mission is to share jiu-jitsu with everyone - regardless of age, color, disability, gender, gender expression, gender identity, national origin, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation.
